Network Security was founded and operated as a commercial and residential security and guard service company in Dallas. As the national apartment market quickly expanded, Network Security recognized the need for a multifamily-specific security provider.
1982
Network Multifamily was launched as a division of Network Security and began providing multihousing-exclusive alarm systems and services. Several acquisitions in the 1990s further ensured Network's position as the largest, most experienced provider of multifamily alarm systems and services in the nation.
1998
Network Multifamily became a subsidiary of Protection One, one of the nation's leading providers of burglar and fire alarm equipment and services.
